Oops, this was not the day to decide to tune back in and participate in Tuesdays on the Run hosted by Erika, Marcia and Patty for this week’s Tuesdays on the Run. Apparently the topic is Grading January 2017 (as it relates to running!).
Not one to be thwarted by waking up at 2 am or running 13.1 (plus another 6.2) miles, I will not let a little thing like runDisney moving my favorite race to the morning (making it no longer my favorite race) ruin my Food & Wine plans. We made it through two rounds of booking and have a schedule fit for a very fat lush runner! Here we go…
I’m back from my latest race just in time for Tuesdays on the Run.This week’s topic: Favorite Race Medals. My own answer is simple: I don’t have favorite race medals or maybe they’re all my favorite, so I’ll share my rack. Please comment, share, and link-up with Patty, Erika, and Marcia for this edition of Tuesdays on the Run.
My quick trip for Princess was a whirlwind of food, drinks, and Milly! Oh, and there was some running in there somewhere. As for the race itself, I inadvertently came in under 3, even with a ton of character photos (and lines), at 2:59:57. I wasn’t aiming for an under 3, as I haven’t been training much at all and wanted to take it easy and get some fun photos. Mostly, I was tired, hot, and sweaty.
This runDisney trip took about 12 parsecs. If only LA was just six parsecs from Seattle this trip would have been less stressful. With Le Mops having surgery on his neck just days before the Rebel Challenge, the leisurely runcation changed drastically. Artboy, who had already deferred the races, stayed home and watched the pugs. I headed to Disneyland with a friend, feeling like a bad mama.
It’s another installment of Tuesdays on the Run brought to you by the fine folks: Patty, Erika, and Marcia! This week’s topic is Spring Race Plans. As part of my STOP REGISTERING FOR RACES year, I only have three Spring Races planned.
